Protecting public health through U.S. climate action: Making sense of the shifting landscape after WV v. EPA and the Inflation Reduction Act

The GW Climate and Health Institute (CHI) will hold a symposium event titled, "Protecting public health through U.S. climate action: Making sense of the shifting landscape after WV v. EPA and the Inflation Reduction Act," on October 13, 2022 from 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM EST in the Convening Center on the 1st Floor of the Milken Institute School of Public Health. Senator Tom Carper will deliver the keynote address, with an introduction by GW President Mark Wrighton. Two panels of experts will then discuss health and Environmental Justice implications of the Inflation Reduction Act and the WV v. EPA Supreme Court decision, as well as advancing action on multiple fronts to get the rest of the way to a healthy climate. A reception will be held from 4:15-5:00 PM for those in attendance.
