CHI Director Dr. Susan Anenberg, Professor and Chair of Environmental and Occupational Health in the Milken Institute School of Public Health, was featured on an NPR segment entitled 'A new satellite could help clean up the air in America's most polluted neighborhoods.'The segment highlights the Curtis Bay neighborhood of Baltimore, a community that has a disproportionate exposure to high-levels of toxic air pollution. Anenberg discusses how the launch of the new TEMPO satellite can benefit communities such as Curtis Bay, as the instrument's data has the capability to provide "a more comprehensive view of which communities across the country are overburdened by pollution."
