CHI members and Assistant Professors of Medicine, Dr. Anjeni Keswani and  Dr. Hana Akselrod, and CHI Director and Associate Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health, Dr. Susan Anenberg, published a paper in NEJM Evidence, entitled 'Health and Clinical Impacts of Air Pollution and Linkages with Climate Change.' This review article examines the linkages between climate change, air pollution and health, and presents mitigation approaches at the societal, community, and individual levels, as well as discusses opportunities for clinicians to mitigate health harms during visits. The authors concludes with further recommendations and the importance of including climate change into medical education curriculum.
