Earlier this week, NASA unveiled their new Earth Information Center (EIC) located in the lobby at their headquarters at 300 E St. SW. Research on air pollution inequality in DC from the GWSPH Air, Climate, and Health lab, led by CHI Director Dr. Susan Anenberg, is featured on the hyperwall, NASA's famous screen that displays high resolution maps and graphs using satellite data. Check out this 2 minute video featuring Dr. Anenberg and her group's work here.
The EIC will be open to the public on Monday, June 26th, and has an online viewing option available as well (though in-person viewing is recommended because there is also an immersive experience and a chandelier that displays the direction and magnitudes of Earth communications with individual satellites through moving lights)!
