CHI member and Doctoral student, Sydney Pryor, and CHI member and Director of the Sumner M. Redstone Global Center for Prevention and Wellness, Dr. Bill Dietz, published a paper in Current Obesity Reports, entitled 'The COVID-19, Obesity, and Food Insecurity Syndemic.' This review paper sought to provide evidence for a parallel syndemic of COVID-19, Obesity, and Food Insecurity, and articulate mitigation strategies, particularly amongst vulnerable population groups.
