CHI member and EOH Assistant Research Professor, Dr. Daniel Goldberg, presented at the SXSW Conference on March 8th at a NASA Meets South by Southwest session entitled, "Heat, Dust, Smoke, Disease: What NASA Measures in Our Air." Highlighting research from the GWSPH Air, Climate, and Health Lab, including work that quantifies a widening gap in racial and ethnic disparities in nitrogen dioxide attributable pediatric asthma and attributable mortality, Goldberg discussed the applications of satellite data for health.
