CHI Director appointed to National Academies Committee

CHI Director and Associate Professor and Chair of the Environmental and Occupational Health Department, Dr. Susan Anenberg, was recently appointed to the National Academies committee "Utilizing Advanced Environmental Health and Geospatial Data and Technologies to Inform Community Investment." This committee will advise the Council on Environmental Quality's implementation of the Justice40 initiative, specifically looking at how geospatial data and existing environmental screening tools can inform the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool, a tool that will be used to "identify communities eligible for benefits from federal investments in critical sectors."
