CHI Director and Professor and Chair of Environmental and Occupational Health, Dr. Susan Anenberg, co-authored a  paper published in Nature Communications, entitled "Reversal of trends in global fine particulate matter air pollution." Anenberg and other co-authors examined global trends in ambient fine particulate matter (PM2.5) pollution, finding a reversal in previous growth of global PM2.5 air pollution. Reductions in global PM2.5 contribute to increasing health benefits associated with marginal reductions in exposure..
