CHI members submit comments to EPA

On January 17, 2023 CHI member, Dr. Gaige Kerr, and CHI Director, Dr. Susan Anenberg, submitted comments in response to EPA's invitation for comments on a new program to allocate $5 billion USD to assist states, air pollution control agencies, tribes, and local governments in developing and implementing climate pollution reduction strategies. Comments submitted address the need for the prioritization of climate pollution reduction strategies that maximize health co-benefits, the advancement of environmental justice, and sustained, consistent funding.
