Climate Change and Respiratory Health: Impacts, Communication, and Action

In the final session of the Climate and Health Connections Series, the GW Climate and Health Institute will host a participatory discussion with CHI Co-Directors, Dr. Anjeni Keswani, Assistant Professor of Medicine, and Dr. Neelu Tummala, Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Keswani and Dr. Tummala will be discussing the role of climate change on respiratory health, including the most concerning impacts, the ways in which to communicate these concerns to others, and the most impactful advocacy action items to improve public health. This is a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual options. This event will be taking place on March 31st at 12 PM EST: In person at the Milken Institute School of Public Health, Room 500A, or if attending via Zoom, the link will be provided upon registration. For those in person, lunch will be provided. Registration is required and this event is open to all GW Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni.
