CHI members sign comments submitted to the Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee

On May 22nd, over 15 CHI members signed written comments that were submitted to the Metropolitan Washington Air Quality Committee (MWAQC) in support of the development of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) Environmental Justice Action plan, suggesting several recommendations for consideration when developing the plan including: 1) the establishment of cumulative impact assessments, 2) the co-generation of environmental justice goals and aims with community members, and; 3) the prioritization of community engagement in accountability processes.
